After-hours buzz: Restoration Hardware, Intel & more

Adobe Systems The software company posted adjusted quarterly earnings of 32 cents a share on revenue of $1.04 billion, versus expectations of 32 cents a share on revenue of $1.0 billion. Its shares gained in after-hours trading.

Restoration Hardware Shares of the home-furnishing retailer slid after it posted third-quarter earnings of 32 cents a share on revenue of $395.8 million, compared to estimates of earnings per share of 28 cents on $391 in revenue. It also said Carlos Alberini had resigned his position as co-CEO, effective at the end of January, to join Lucky Brands.

Intel Shares of chip manufacturer fell in extended-hours trading after Bloomberg, citing a person with knowledge of the matter, reported Google was thinking about designing its own server processors with technology from ARM Holdings in a move that could damage Intel's market dominance.

CORRECTION: This version corrected Restoration Hardware's estimates to 28 cents a share on $391 million in revenues.
