IAC/InterActive - The online provider of dating and search services fell after reporting its first-quarter profit shrank 33 percent..

Level 3 Communications - The communications company rose after posting better-than-expected first-quarter earnings.

LogMein - The technology provider hit a three-year high after tallying better-than-expected first quarter earnings.

NextEra Energy - The electricity provider climbed after posting better-than-expected first-quarter earnings.

PPL - The utility holding company rose on ongoing speculation that the company might spin off its power generation and energy marketing business.

Royal Dutch Shell - The oil producer advanced after posting better-than-expected first-quarter earnings.

Thomson Reuters - The news and information provider gained after posting higher-than-expected quarterly profits, mostly on cost cutting.

Titan International - The off-road tire maker rose after activist investor Mark Rachesky upped his stake in the off-road-tire maker.

Under Armour - The footwear company gained after Janney Montgomery Scott upgraded it to buy from neutral.

W.W. Grainger - The provider of maintenance supplies rose after increasing its quarterly dividend by 16 percent.
