Midday movers: NFLX, PCLN, BIIB & more

Take a look at some of Thursday's midday movers:

Tech momentum stocks took a hit, with Netflix, Priceline, Amazon, and Facebook leading the decliners.

Biotechs were also lower, including momentum names such as Biogen Idec, Alexion, Celgene, and Regeneron all lower.

Vodafone lost ground as Goldman Sachs downgraded the stock to "neutral" from "buy," citing reduced merger potential.

AstraZeneca moved higher on new, positive data regarding its experimental lung cancer drug, giving the company fresh ammunition that Pfizer is undervaluing it.

NQ Mobile plummeted after the company said it needed more time to release its annual report.

Advance Auto Parts moved lower despite posting better-than-expected earnings, driven by the acquisition of General Parts.

Alliant Techsystems fell after forecasting 2015 earnings that were below Street expectations, though the ammunition maker did post better-than-expected quarterly earnings.

Eli Lilly lost ground after it lost a patent case in the English High Court over its blockbuster Alimta lung cancer drug to generic drug maker Actavis.

Plug Power gained ground after Cowen upgraded the stock to "outperform" from "market perform," citing in part, strong year-to-date bookings.

Teva Pharmaceuticals slid after a U.S. district court dismissed its case to block generic version of its multiple sclerosis drug Copaxone.

Acadia Pharmaceuticals rose after JPMorgan began coverage of the pharmaceutical company with an overweight "rating" and $33 price target.

Nimble Storage moved higher after Goldman Sachs raised its rating on the data storage company to "buy" from "hold," citing valuation.

Manchester United gained ground after the English soccer club reported a 60-percent rise in quarterly profit, saying it had the financial muscle to improve the squad after a poor season.
