CNBC Unveils Second Annual CNBC Disruptor 50

Throughout the Week, CNBC Spotlights the Companies, Sectors & Themes Emerging from this Year's List

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., June 17, 2014−CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, today announced the second annual CNBC Disruptor 50, a ranked list of venture-backed private companies that are changing everything we think we know about business. Elon Musk's SpaceX earned the top spot on this year's exclusive list.

CNBC revealed the list across the network's multiple platforms and is featuring special coverage throughout Business Day programming and on CNBC Digital this week. CNBC's reporter Julia Boorstin is leading the network's on-air coverage. CNBC's "Squawk Box" (M-F, 6AM-9AM ET), "Squawk Alley" (M-F, 11AM-12PM ET) and "Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer" (M-F, 6PM-7PM ET) will highlight the companies on the list throughout the week.
