Amazon is working on a subscription that would offer unlimited access to e-books and audiobooks for $9.99 a month, according to a report in Gigaom.

The service, tentatively called Kindle Unlimited, is currently being worked on at the company, according to the report.

Test pages of the service were spotted by readers at Kindle Boards, and were subsequently pulled down, though rumors of such a service have been around for a while.
