Max is the co-founder and CEO of WobbleWorks, where he leads R&D and ideation with dedications to the creation of fun and innovative toys and small robots.

Before founding WobbleWorks, Max was a director of consumer robotics at Handy Robotics and an R&D project manager at WowWee, where he launched products including Rovio, RS Media and ChatterBots.

A graduate of Purdue University's computer science program, Max eventually hopes to build machines capable of vanquishing robot dino armies of any shape or size.

About 3Doodler

3Doodler is the world's first and only 3D Printing Pen. Using ABS plastic (the material used by many 3D printers), 3Doodler draws in the air or on surfaces. It's compact and easy to use and requires no software or computers. You simply plug the pen into a power socket and start drawing.

Crowdfunding campaign

  • 3Doodler passed its initial target of $30,000 within hours of launch and raised more than $500,000 the first day.
  • The final pledge figure of more than $2.3 million means that 3Doodler raised 7,781 percent over its initial funding goal.
  • Women made up almost half of 3Doodler backers, a significant increase from their previous 7 percent estimated share of the 3D printing market.
