After-hours buzz: Jumei, American Air & more

Take a look at some of Monday's after-hours buzz:

Jumei International jumped more than 7 percent in extended-hours trade after the Chinese online retailer of beauty products posted fourth quarter results that showed a 18.5 percent increase in net revenue from the year-ago period and a 2.1 percent increase in the number of active customers, according to a company statement. However, total net gross merchandise volume decreased by 3 percent from the same period last year.

Qunar surged more than 8 percent in after-hours trade after the Chinese online travel booking site posted fourth-quarter results that showed a 107 percent increase in revenue from the year-ago period. Mobile revenue quadrupled from the same period last year, making up for 49.5 percent of total revenues.

American Airlines rose 4 percent in extended-hours trade following news that the company will replace Allergan in the S&P 500 after the close on March 20. Actavis is expected to complete its acquisition of Allergan on Tuesday.

LinkedIn fell more than 1 percent in extended-hours trade after Brean Capital initiated coverage of the social network for professionals with a "sell" rating.
