China industrial profits drop on-year in October

Profits earned by Chinese industrial companies fell 4.6 percent in October from a year earlier, data from the country's statistics bureau showed on Friday.

Profits fell 2.0 percent in the first ten months of the year compared with the same period a year earlier, the National Bureau of Statistics said on its website.
