Apex for Youth rings NYSE opening bell

Apex for Youth rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange Friday.

The organization, which connects young immigrants with mentors, attended the bell ringing in celebration of its 24th anniversary and its expansion into the New York City boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens.

Apex is looking for more young professionals to volunteer to work with the more than 1,300 youth that the organization currently supports, according to the organization.
