Amazon quietly launched its private fashion labels last month. Its second physical bookstore is about to open in San Diego. So what's next? Live TV.

Amazon announced that it is launching "Style Code Live," its first live TV show. A trio of personalities will serve as hosts, including Rachel Smith, a "Good Morning America" and "Nightline" correspondent who was Miss USA in 2007, Lyndsey Rodrigues, a former host of MTV's "Total Request Live," and Frankie Grande, a Broadway star and older brother of pop star Ariana Grande.

The show will be similar to QVC's home shopping channel. The hosts and their guests will share tips and tricks on fashion and makeup. Underneath the video player, viewers will be able to buy the featured products. Real-time chat will be available during the live show, allowing viewers to ask the hosts and guests for beauty and fashion advice. The guest list includes YouTube star Tati Westbrook, 2016 Grammy's Best New Artist winner Meghan Trainor, and actress Keri Russell.

"We are really excited about the live format of the show because it gives people who are passionate about fashion and beauty a place to interact with each other, keep up with the latest trends, get fashion and beauty tips, ask questions and chat with the hosts, and easily find the products they want," an Amazon spokesperson told CNBC.

While Amazon hasn't named the products that will appear in the show, the company may showcase its own brands, including Scout + Ro and Society New York.

"We are building a community and are super excited for our viewers to be part of it," Executive Producer Terence Noonan said in the press release.

The daily show is 30 minutes long, airing five days a week beginning March 8 at 9 p.m. ET. Viewers will be able to watch only on their computers, but a mobile option is in the works.
