Leon Cooperman, chairman and CEO of Omega Advisors, shared his views on politics, current favorite stock ideas and the market, in an exclusive interview with CNBC.
On politics Cooperman said Tuesday, "I'm not a fan of the two leading contenders. The election uncertainty is not a plus for the market." He added, "I'm finding a ton of stocks that are cheap."
Cooperman founded Omega Advisors in 1991. Previously, the hedge fund manager was chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
