Entrepreneur and venture capitalist Peter Thiel has apparently decided to back The Donald's bid for the White House.

Thiel's name appears on a list of Donald Trump delegates filed with the California Secretary of State. The investor and co-founder of PayPal previously supported Ron Paul's 2008 and 2012 presidential bids, and Ted Cruz's Senate race in Texas, according to Federal Election Commission reports.

He could not immediately be reached for comment.

The list of Trump-pledged delegates also includes U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa, a Republican whose district includes portions of San Diego county.
