Top trades for 2nd half: Look ahead at names amid earnings

Earnings season rolls on next week with some big boxretailers and consumer names set to report. While the focus will remain on retailers, the Halftime Report experts say there are two other names to keep an eye on.

Cisco reports on Wednesday and both Sarat Sethi and Jim Lebethal are bullish on the name. Sarat says "this is a value stock now. It trades at 10 times earnings with a 4% dividend yield…I think longer term it's good." Jim Lebenthal adds "we've had pre-announcements from Juniper and there is question in the space. That's why the stock isdown low, at least partly. There is a good chance that Cisco is eatingJuniper's lunch and the other competitors. I think there is a chance for them to outshine here."

Josh Brown is watching Deere. Brown believes the company is in a good position here: "I genuinely think agriculture is at a trough the way that metals and mining is not. I like this name better than CAT. It sells for a cheaper multiple and Buffett is buyingdips here. It's a good stock to own."
