Careem: The Middle East’s rival to Uber

For this edition of "Access: Middle East," CNBC's Hadley Gamble takes you behind the scenes of the latest car-booking app, Careem.

Founded in 2012, the app has branched out into 27 different cities across the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region and Pakistan. The business has already managed to secure over 2.5 million registered users, but is looking to open in even more markets.
