Power Play: Adding blue chips to your portfolio

Stocks are rallying on Thursday, with the Dow and setting new intraday highs. Even though the market is in record territory, John Augustine, chief investment officer of Huntington Bank, tells CNBC's "Power Lunch" he still sees lots of opportunities.

"We are adding to U.S. mid and small-caps for EPS growth and relative valuation and we are adding to high yield and TIPS bonds for fixed income diversification," Augustine said.

He believes the key is not betting against the U.S. economy. Three of his top holdings are blue chip stocks, Lockheed Martin, Realty Income and Crown Castle International.

Lockheed Martin, Realty Income and Crown Castle are all lower during trading, but have double-digit gains year-to-date.
