Springsteen to rock Philly in support of Clinton, latest celeb to turn out

Rock icon Bruce Springsteen will perform at 's final campaign event on Independence Mall in Philadelphia on Monday, joining a long list of celebrities who have turned out for the Democratic nominee in recent weeks.

The event in Philadelphia will be attended by President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama, as well as Bill Clinton. The rally was being billed as a double date. Jon Bon Jovi will also perform.

Springsteen has not been shy about his political leanings, performing in support of Obama during both his campaigns for president and at his historic inauguration in January, 2009. Springsteen recently referred to in a Rolling Stone interview as "a moron."

Other musicians who have come out to support Clinton have been Katy Perry, Beyonce, Jay Z, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Lady Gaga, Elton John, Demi Lovato as well as James Taylor.
