* Quebecor Inc., Quebecor Media Inc. and Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec
(CDP) reach an agreement on the partial sale of caisse de depot et placement du
Quebec's interest in Quebecor Media Inc
* Says agreement (the agreement) regarding a partial sale of CDP'S 45.3%
interest in QMI
* QMI intends to finance repurchase of the 20.4 million shares of qmi held by
cdp by accessing financial markets
* Deal provides for the completion of repurchase by qmi of 20,351,307 shares of
QMI held by cdp for $1.0 billion in cash
* Upon completion of deal transactions, cdp will hold 25.44 million shares of
QMI, representing a 24.6% interest in qmi
