Polish c.bank says will cut rates if data confirm slowdown

WARSAW, Oct 3 (Reuters) - Poland's central bank will cut interest rates if incoming data and the November inflation projection show a protracted slowdown and limited price pressures, the bank's rate setting panel said on Wednesday in its post-meeting statement.

Earlier on Wednesday the bank left interest rates on hold, defying analysts' expectations that it would cut borrowing costs to help the slowing economy.
