Grains futures, livestock prices rise

CHICAGO -- Grain prices mostly rose Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 11.75 cents to $8.7275 a bushel; December corn rose 4 cents to $7.46 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.7050 a bushel; while November soybeans jumped 14 cents to $15.65 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rose 0.55 cent to $1.2695 a pound; November feeder cattle rose 0.15 cent to $1.4645 a pound; while December lean hogs added 0.08 cent to 76.95 cents a pound.
