Gas prices down nearly 3 cents in W.Va.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Gasoline prices have fallen nearly 3 cents per gallon on average in West Virginia over the past week.

AAA East Central says the price for a gallon of regular, unleaded gas in the state is $3.87. That's 44 cents higher than a year ago and a dime higher than the current average price nationally.

Prices range from $3.80 in Weirton to $3.96 in Martinsburg.
