Power Pitch: Start-Up Tries to Make Gift-Giving Easy

CNBC's "Power Lunch" is giving CEOs a chance to make a 60 second "Power Pitch"—aimed to convince a panel of experts that their start-up has what it takes to succeed.

John Poisson has been down the start-up road before. The self-described serial entrepreneur's latest venture is Wantful, a website that helps gift-givers select unique presents.

Some venture capitalists have already been convinced.

So far, Poisson has raised $6.9 million to fund the San Francisco-based start-up. Polaris Ventures, Greylock Partners, Harrison Metal Capital, and Forerunner Ventures are among Wantful's key investors.
