Earnings Preview: Coke, PepsiCo, GM and More

Beverages and cars are just the tip of an earnings list that includes Cisco, Comcast, Whole Foods, Michael Kors——, and Mondelez International.

Thomson Reuters says it's been an above average earnings season with nearly 70 percent of companies beating analysts' EPS expectations compared to a typical quarter that sees 62 percent beating the street. Similarly, more than two-thirds of those reporting have surpassed Wall Street's revenue forecasts, also above average.

It's mostly about consumer goods in next week's earnings, CNBC's Courtney Reagan details what investors are waiting for.
