Stephen Weiss of Short Hills Capital revealed Thursday what he was planning do with news from the U.S. employment report.
"Tomorrow, I'm just looking for an opportunity," he said. "If the jobs number's good tomorrow, I'm going to add. If the jobs number's bad tomorrow, I'm going to add."
On CNBC's "Fast Money," Weiss said that he held long positions in the stock market and sounded a bullish tone.
The European Central Bank cut its main refinancing rate by 25 basis points to 0.5 percent.

And not only did ECB President Mario Draghi announce a rate cut, but he also pledged to do more, Weiss noted.
"So, you just can't fight this tide of liquidity," he said.
Weiss cited improvement in housing and auto sales.

"Those to me are the pillars of growth in the U.S., and I think that you'll continue to see the market do well," he said.
Rosecliff Capital's Mike Murphy saw Draghi's move as a strong catalyst for stocks.
"He did what was widely expected. If he didn't come through, I think we'd be having a much different discussion today," Murphy said. "He did what was needed to be done, and you're looking at the S&P right now with a magnet to 1,600. I think we go through it, and we continue to go."
