After-Hours Buzz: Take-Two Interactive, Hewlett-Packard, Verizon & More

Take-Two Interactive Software - The videogame publisher posted earnings of 38 cents a share on sales of $303 million, exceeding Wall Street expectations for 23 cents a share on revenue of $280 million. Shares rallied in extended-hours trading.

Hewlett-Packard - The IT giant said it has "no interest" in selling Britain's tech firm Autonomy, according to a report from AllThingsD, citing a statement from HP. AllThingsD also reported that HP said it sees Autonomy playing a role in its long term strategy. The report came after the London Times earlier this month said that HP had been in talks with SAP about selling Autonomy.

Verizon Wireless - The mobile network operator said it would pay its parent companies Verizon Communications and Vodafone a dividend of $7 billion in June. Both Verizon Communications and Vodafone climbed in extended-hours trading.

SolarCity - The provider of energy services posted a loss of 41 cents a share on sales of $30 million, against expectations for a loss of 32 cents on revenue of $30 million. Shares declined in extended-hours trading.

Cigna - The health insurance company announced that its CFO Ralph Nicoletti has elected to leave the firm in July. Current vice president of finance Thomas McCarthy will succeed Nicoletti.

PetSmart - The pet supply retailer named Carrie Teffner the company's senior vice president and CFO. Teffner was most recently served the executive vice president and CFO at Weber-Stephen Products.

DineEquity - Scout Capital Management disclosed that it has a 6.6 percent stake in the restaurant franchise operator, according to a recent 13D filing.
