Microsoft Restructuring Nears, Top Execs Fret: Report

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer is expected to unveil a restructuring of the software giant by July 1, AllThingsD is reporting, citing sources close to the situation.

Many of the tech firm's top management are said to be worried about what that may mean, given that Ballmer has been making these plans with limited consultation with the wider Microsoft leadership team, leaving many out of the decision-making process, according to the report.
