Yahoo is getting 800 million monthly active users—without any of that traffic coming from Tumblr, CEO Marissa Mayer said Wednesday at the TechCrunch Disrupt conference.
Most of that is coming from mobile, Yahoo's homepage, mail, search and other core properties of the site, she said.

"We're really focused on daily habits," Mayer said, adding that mobile growth is key for the company.

"We have grown our mobile team by a multiple of 10 since I got there, and mobile has been growing just tremendously," she said. "I think there is a huge opportunity there for Yahoo ... a great opportunity to take content and functionality that we have always had on the Web and taking it to the phone."
