Thank you for your interest in CNBC First 25. The voting is now closed.

The first cut is done. More than half the original field has fallen by the wayside—thanks in part to your votes. Now, we again ask for your help, this time to reduce the remaining 100 nominees to the final 25 who will comprise the CNBC First 25: Leaders, Icons and Rebels. It’s our anniversary list of those who have had the most profound impact on business and finance since 1989, the year CNBC came into existence.

Below are the remaining 93 nominees selected by your first-round votes and our advisory panel, plus seven new candidates you suggested as write-ins, readily identifiable by the double asterisk against their name.

Our advisory board is reviewing the votes and will reveal the final 25 in the coming months. Here again is a detailed look at our criteria.
