HP sells 2,400 mobile patents to Qualcomm

Hewlett-Packard announced on Thursday that it sold a block of old mobile technology patents to wireless chip company Qualcomm.

Financial terms haven't been disclosed, but the sale includes a batch of 1,400 patents and applications for some still pending in the U.S. and another 1,000 patents and applications from other countries.
