The co-founder of the venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers shocked many by comparing wealthy Americans to Jews in Nazi Germany, Re-code reported.
In a letter to the editor in The Wall Street Journal, Tom Perkins wrote that he wanted to "call attention to the parallels of fascist Nazi Germany to its war on its 'one percent,' namely its Jews, to the progressive war on the American one percent, namely the 'rich.'"
