Looking for a higher-paying job? The best idea these days may be just to get an intership in Silicon Valley.
There, interns at companies make upwards of $6,000 a month, with the average about $4,600 a month or $55,200 a year, according to a report in Slate, which used numbers from Glassdoor.
Tops in the category is Palantir, which pays just more than $7,000 a month, while VMware is just below that number and Twitter pays nearly $6,800.
