Cubic - The provider of solutions to mass transit and defense markets reported second-quarter earnings per share of 40 cents on $354.5 million in sales, beating consensus estimates. Its shares rose in after-hours trade.
DirecTV - Shares rose in after-hours trade after Dow Jones cited sources in reporting AT&T could strike a deal for the provider of digital television services as soon as in two weeks. Shares of AT&T also advanced in extended-hours trading.
Elizabeth Arden - The cosmetics company tallied a third-quarter earnings per share loss of 84 cents on sales of $210.8 million, compared to expectations of an EPS of zero on $257 million in revenue. The company said it had engaged Goldman Sachs to explore its strategic alternatives. Shares fell sharply in after-hours trade.
McKesson - The supplier of medical supplies and technology reported fourth-quarter earnings per share of $2.55, excluding items, on $38.14 billion in revenue, versus estimates of EPS of $2.40 on $35.86 billion in sales. Shares gained in after-hours trading.
Rackspace Hosting - The cloud computing company posted first-quarter earnings per share of 18 cents on $421 million in revenue. Analysts had anticipated EPS of 12 cents on $420 million in sales. Shares jumped in after-hours trade.
Virtusa - The technology and business consultancy tallied fourth-quarter earnings per share of 35 cents on $111.1 million in revenue, compared to expectations of EPS of 36 cents on $112 million in sales. Shares climbed in after-hours trading.
