New hardware from Apple in two weeks?

Even though Apple's Worldwide Developer's Conference is almost never about new products, the rumor mill has been churning ceaselessly (as it generally does with this company) about new hardware at this year's event.

9to5mac has sources saying that at least some new hardware will be presented, though they wouldn't specify whether it's a watch, new phone or something else.

Skepticism may be warranted, though, as Re/code previously noted anxious Apple fans shouldn't expect any new product before the fall.

The WWD conference begins June 2 in San Francisco with a keynote by Apple CEO Tim Cook. Expect a redesigned operating system, new health tracking software, and new iPad features, among other highlights, says 9to5Mac.
