After-hours buzz: Bed Bath & Beyond, Cinedigm & more

Check out which companies are making headlines after the bell Wednesday:

American Software - The provider of business software and services tallied fourth-quarter earnings per share of 10 cents on $25.9 million in revenue, compared to estimated EPS of 10 cents on $27 million in sales. Its shares were little changed in after-hours trading.

Bed Bath & Beyond - The retailer reported first-quarter earnings per share of 93 cents on $2.66 billion in revenue, versus expected EPS of 94 cents on $2.69 billion in sales. Shares declined in after-hours trading.

Casella Waste Systems - The waste management company posted a fourth-quarter earnings per share loss of 30 cents on $118.9 million in revenue. Analysts had expected the company to report $111 million in sales. Its shares edged lower in after-hours trading.

Cinedigm - The provider of digital cinema services reported fourth-quarter revenue of $31.7 million, versus estimates of $36 million in sales. Its shares slid in after-hours trading.

ConAgra Foods - The manufacturer of cereal and other products rose in after-hours trading, a day before it reports quarterly results.

Herman Miller - The furnishings distributor reported fourth-quarter earnings per share of 47 cents, excluding items, on $487.5 million in revenue, compared to expected EPS of 46 cents on $497 million in sales. Its shares fell in after-hours trading.
