Is the iWatch delayed already?

Apple still hasn't announced a timeline for iWatch production, but a report suggests manufacturing may start later than many have anticipated.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo estimated that Apple will start mass producing the smart watch in November, pushing back a previous September estimate, 9to5Mac reported. The change dropped estimates for 2014 shipments by 40 percent to 3 million watches, Kuo wrote in the report.

Kuo attributes the delay to challenges with more complex software and hardware in the watch, a first generation product. 9to5 Mac noted that Kuo "has provided relatively accurate information" on previous Apple releases, but "frequent misses on timing."
