The website cited a source knowledgeable about an "internal Apple Retail Store meeting," who said that the iPhone launch would be part of an "incredibly busy" month of October.

MacRumors acknowledged that most reports have pointed to a September announcement and launch of the iPhone 6, but rumors from last week indicated that the Cupertino-based company is planning only to announce the phone that month.
