Apple welcomes Beats after deal's completion

Apple on Friday commemorated the completion of its deal to buy Beats Electronics, posting a welcome page on its website.

The page, titled "Welcome to the family," touts the merits of the brand joining Apple over a visual of a pair of Beats headphones.

Apple CEO Tim Cook tweeted a link to the page on Friday morning.

"We're delighted to be working with the team to elevate that experience even further," Apple said. "And we can't wait to hear what's next."

Apple acquired Beats for $3 billion in May.
