Apple's Healthkit app delayed by iOS 8 bug

Apple says its HealthKit apps will be delayed by a bug in its new operating system, iOS 8.

"We're working quickly to have the bug fixed in a software update and have HealthKit apps available by the end of the month," the company said in a statement.

The HealthKit app was a notable part of the iPhone and Apple Watch offerings, which were presented this week at Apple's media blitz.
