Take a look at some of Thursday's midday movers:

Apple - The iPhone maker and suppliers including Allegheny Technologies, Avago Technologies and Jabil Circuit declined as Apple dealt with glitches in its new smartphone.

Barrick Gold - The miner gained after HSBC upgraded the company to overweight from neutral.

Boston Scientific - The medical-equipment maker declined a day after a U.S. court ruled it breached its licence pact with Mirowski Family Ventures and awarded Mirowski $308 million in damages.

Cliffs Natural Resources - The miner dropped after Doyle Trading said the quarterly price for metallurgical coal had fallen to a six-year low.

Cone Midstream Partners - The Master Limited Partnership formed by Consol Energy and Nobel Energy jumped in its first day of trading.

GameStop - The video-game retailer slid after saying it would hire 25,000 season workers during the upcoming holiday shopping season.

H.B. Fuller - The maker of chemical products fell after reporting fourth-quarter guidance beneath expectations.

KB Home - The home builder dropped after reporting third-quarter results that disappointed.

LipoScience - The developer of technology to measure cholesterol levels rose after Laboratory Corp. of America said it would acquire the company for $85.3 million in cash.

Northrop Grumman - The aerospace company was upgraded to buy from hold by Argus Research. Its shares declines.

Skechers USA - The shoemaker rose as the company refuted a contention by The Buckingham Research Group that its sales had declined.

Swift Transportation - The trucking company advanced after reaffirming it expects third-quarter earnings to come in above estimates.

Valeant Pharmaceuticals - The drug developer advanced after its CEO said the company expects third-quarter revenue will exceed estimates.
