Author J.K. Rowling set the Internet ablaze on Tuesday with a single tweet hinting at the possible return of Harry Potter. In typical fashion, Rowling cryptically posted, "Cry, foe! Run amok! Fa awry! My wand won't tolerate this nonsense."
Sounds like gibberish? Guess again.
An astute Reddit user points out that those 12 words are a perfect anagram for "Harry returns! Won't say any details now. A week off. No comment".
Rowling followed her viral post with a second tweet confirming she's taking time off. "Something to ponder while I'm away," she wrote.
Late Tuesday afternoon, Rowling returned to Twitter and revealed the answer to her riddle.
Apparently, Rowling was referring to a character named Newt Scamander who will appear in her upcoming movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Earlier Tuesday, fans of the world popular series went wild on social media.
"If I had a penny for every moment I've wished for more Harry Potter stuff, I'd be dead, buried by all of my pennies." tweeted @AHintOfMystery.
"If Harry Potter comes back I will be happier than a kid in Honeydukes." posted @GoForChlo, referencing the sweet shop Potter and his friends visit in Rowling's seven books.

• More than 400 million copies of the Harry Potter books have been sold, according to Scholastic.

• Potter has his own theme-park at Universal Studios (which is owned by CNBC parent NBCUniversal).
For now, die hard Harry Potter fans will have to make do with Newt anagrams.
