After-hours buzz: CSX, Intel, Phillips 66 & more

Check out which companies are making headlines after the bell Tuesday:

CSX - The railway gained in after-hours trading after posting third-quarter profit that exceeded estimates. Rival Union Pacific also rose in after-hours trading.

Intel - The technology giant rose in extended trading after reporting third-quarter revenue that beat expectations.

Johnson & Johnson - The supplier of health care products gained in after-hours trading after falling during the day as investors fretted about competition for hits hepatitis C treatment.

JPMorgan Chase - The banking and financial services company rose in after-hours trading after falling during the regular session as it reported lower-than-estimated third-quarter profit.

Phillips 66 - The energy company slid in after-hours trading after the price of crude-oil futures fell 4.6 percent to $81.84 a barrel, its lowest close since the middle of 2012.
