Twitter has demoted its head of product, Daniel Graf, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.
Graf was the former director of Google Maps and joined Twitter in May.
Twitter's current head of revenue products, Kevin Weil, will now also oversee the consumer product team, according to a securities filing on Thursday.
Weil is now listed as vice president of product on Twitter's executive team website. Graf's biography was temporarily removed from the site and subsequently republished as "Vice President, Product."
Twitter told CNBC there is no difference between the positions, except that Weil is overseeing a larger product team.
