Matthew McConaughey ads help drive Lincoln sales

It looks like Matthew McConaughey was able to move Lincoln's MKC crossover SUV forward.

Sales of the MKC surged from 1,763 units in September to 2,197 in October, when the quirky ads featuring the Oscar-winning actor, and parodies of them, started appearing, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In the first ad, McConaughey says "sometimes you've got to go back, to actually move forward."
