Midday movers: Apple, Netflix, Comcast & more

Take a look at some of Tuesday's midday movers:

Exxon Mobil - The oil producer and others including Chevron, Hess and ConocoPhilips fell with the price of crude.

United Continental Holdings - The carrier and competitors such as Delta Air Lines, American Airlines Group and JetBlue Airways rose as fuel costs dropped.

Apple - The market capitalization of the consumer technology company reached $700 billion for the first time.

Netflix - The movie streamer dropped after as Stifel downgraded the stock to hold from buy.

Brown Shoe Company - The retailer climbed after raising its full-year earnings guidance.

Comcast - The media company and owner of CNBC rose after Bank of America added the stock to its conviction buy list.

Petrobras - Brazil's government-controlled oil giant edged higher after Citigroup upgraded the stock to buy from neutral.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - The restaurant operator advanced after posting better-than-expected first-quarter results.

United Technologies - The diversified manufacturer rose after Wells Fargo upgraded it to outperform from market perform.

Sotheby's - The auctioneer declined as a regulatory filing showed its outgoing CEO is eligible for $4 million in severance.

Biogen Idec - The drug developer fell after the Food and Drug Administration said the label for the company's multiple sclerosis drug would be changed to include information about a patient who died while taking the medication.
