It took Universal Pictures less than a week before it decided to pick up the upcoming Steve Jobs film from Sony Pictures. The film company has decided to cast Michael Fassbender as the late tech visionary.

The film will be directed by Danny Boyle, however the script will be written by Aaron Sorkin. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is expected to have a budget of more than $30 million.
The project is based on Walter Isaacson's biography Steve Jobs which was released in 2011.
