CNBC and Inc. Media Announce Exclusive Collaboration

Strategic Partnership to Produce Conferences Focusing on Entrepreneurship, Small Business and Innovation

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ & NEW YORK, NY – December 1, 2014 – CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, and Inc. Media, the publishers of Inc. magazine, today announced an exclusive collaboration to produce conferences focusing on entrepreneurship, small business and innovation.

Under the terms of the agreement, CNBC and Inc. will create three conferences across the United States next year. The first conference will take place in Spring 2015.

In addition, throughout the year, CNBC and Inc. will share content related to entrepreneurship, growth companies and innovation. These stories will live on CNBC.com and Inc.com.

"The global economy is powered by the ideas and actions of entrepreneurs, so we are excited to work with Inc. to create conferences that will celebrate, educate and empower the entrepreneurial spirit," said Nikhil Deogun, Senior Vice President and Editor in Chief, CNBC Business News. "CNBC continues to build its coverage of entrepreneurship across all platforms and partnering with Inc., a company with a long and successful history serving this important audience, will only bolster those efforts."

"Inc. has been informing, connecting and, hopefully, inspiring business founders since we began 35 years ago," says Eric Schurenberg, Inc.'s President and Editor in Chief. "Entrepreneurs—the engine of the US economy--are who we write about, and who we write for, and who we bring to our events, and we've been doing it practically alone all this time. That's why we're so excited to be joined in the effort by CNBC, one of the premier organizations in all business journalism."
