Formula 1 (F1) fans have flocked to an online auction of hundreds of items relating to British team Marussia, following its fall into administration earlier this year.
The nose of team driver Max Chilton's car sold for £15,000 ($23,569) on Tuesday—the first of a two-day sale. Thousands of items are up for grabs, including more car parts, tools and even a trailer used to transport the vehicles.
So far, the rear wing of the car has sold for £5,000, tyres were auctioned for £5,750 and one of Chilton's racing suits sold for £350.

The sale comes nearly a month after the Marussia F1 team went into administration, shedding 200 jobs in the process. It was the second F1 team to do so in recent months, after Caterham also fell into the hands of administrators in October.
Marussia entered F1 under the Virgin Racing name in 2010 and changed to Marussia in 2012.

The team won its first championship points at the 2014 Monaco Grand Prix earlier this year after lead driver Jules Bianchi finished the race in ninth place.
However, Bianchi was involved in a serious crash during this year's Japanese Grand Prix, however, and Marussia only entered one car in the Russian Grand Prix which followed.
The troubled team then missed three further Grand Prix, capping off a terrible season.
