George Steinbrenner's Silver Shield Foundation will pay for the education of the children of murdered NYPD officer Rafael Ramos, foundation Chairman William G. Walters told For The Win.

Steinbrenner, the late owner of the New York Yankees, started the foundation 32 years ago; since, the organization has paid for the education of over 800 children of fallen servicemen and women, according to Walters.
