After-hours buzz: Cal-Maine Foods, Gilead & Sony

Check out which companies are making headlines after the bell Tuesday:

Cal-Maine Foods - The egg producer fell in after-hours trading after it posted second-quarter results that disappointed.

Gilead Sciences - The drug developer edged higher in after-hours trading, reversing course after sliding for a second day during the regular trading session after Express Scripts Holding said Monday it would no longer cover its hepatitis C treatment in most cases.

Sony - Sony Pictures on Tuesday reversed its decision to cancel "The Interview," saying it would show the comedy after a cyberattack blamed on North Korea. Its shares edged lower in after-hours trading.

Novo Nordisk - U.S. regulators approved the company's diabetes drug, Liraglutide, as a treatment for obesity, making it the first injectable drug approved for weight loss. Novo shares rose about 1.6 percent in after-hours trading.

Vornado - The stock edged lower after the REIT approved a deal to spinoff its Urban Edge Properties unit.
