WD-40 - The company reported a 6 percent drop in first-quarter net income, sending shares nearly 5 percent lower in extended trading. WD-40 reported earnings of 73 cents per share on $96 million in revenue, missing estimates for earnings of 80 cents a share on $100 million in revenue.
Brocade Communications - The telecom equipment maker's stock fell about 2 percent on news that the company would offer $500 million in convertible senior notes.
Zumiez - The stock jumped more than 4 percent after the clothing retailer said same-store sales rose 8 percent in December. The company also hiked its earnings and sales forecasts for the fourth quarter.
Biogen Idec - Shares of the biotech firm dropped about 1 percent in extended trading after closing the regular session about 6 percent higher, making it one of the top percentage-gainers in the S&P.
General Motors - The auto maker told dealers that it would slash the price of the three best-selling packages of options on the 2015 Cadillac CTS, citing poor U.S. demand, according to Reuters. The stock was last down about 1 percent in after-hours trading.
Alexion - The stock tumbled some 4 percent after the drugmaker posted disappointing results from a Phase II trial of its eculizumab drug.
