The perks just keep on coming for Detroit's walking man.
James Robertson, 56, who reportedly took two buses and walked 21 miles to work, will receive about $350,000 from the GoFundMe.com account created to raise funds to buy him a new car, according to a report from the Detroit Free Press.

The account was created by Evan Leedy, a 19-year-old Wayne State University junior, and will be closed Tuesday at midnight, he told the newspaper. "I talked to James about it, and James wants to give people the opportunity to give to other causes," he said. "And I think James didn't want people to think that he was greedy."
Robertson's life has changed dramatically since his story came to light. "I went to the casino on Saturday, and people wanted to get their pictures taken with me," he told the newspaper. Robertson also received a new Ford Taurus from a local dealership and will be getting advice from several financial advisors on how to manage his new-found fortune, the report said.
